I hope that all of you our customers and patients and your families have stayed safe and well in these extraordinary times. As the lockdown is easing and restrictions are lifting I am happy to let you know that we will soon be able to start accepting appointments for eye tests once again. As a first step we will be contacting all patients who were due for an eye test between late March and July to make you aware of this.
We are not out of the woods yet however and there remains a risk of infection due to continued transmission of COVID-19 in the community so we do not recommend you have an eye test unless you are experiencing any difficulties or changes with your vision or have damaged or broken your spectacles or contact lenses. If this is the case please contact us by phone on 01376 337242 and we will be happy to arrange an appointment. We will continue operating a locked door policy for the present time and therefore please do not try to call into the practice to book an appointment.
We take your safety and that of our staff very seriously and therefore you will notice some changes when you arrive for your eye test you can view the attached short video for more information.
If you are not having any difficulties with your vision and you are happy with your current spectacles/contact lenses or do not wear any then don't worry we will write to you again and advise you when it is safe to have a routine eye test.
