Niall Dorgan – Optometrist and Company Director
Niall has more than two decades of experience as a clinical optometrist, with a background spanning independent practice, hospital eye care and clinical management.
Alongside his work at Coggeshall Eye Centre, Niall has experience providing specialist glaucoma and ocular hypertension care in both hospital and community settings.
He holds specialist qualifications in glaucoma and therapeutic prescribing, reflecting his particular interest in the diagnosis and management of eye disease.
Salman Mushtaq – Resident Optometrist
Salman is the resident optometrist at Coggeshall Eye Centre. He has many years of experience in private practice and has also worked in community glaucoma services associated with Colchester Hospital.
His experience across both general optometry and glaucoma care helps him provide a comprehensive approach to looking after our patients’ eye health.
Asha Rani – Optometrist
Asha has recently joined the optometry team at Coggeshall Eye Centre. She is looking forward to getting to know our patients and becoming an established part of the practice.
George Chui – Optometrist
George is an experienced optometrist who has worked in both private and NHS practice. He has completed the Professional Certificate in Glaucoma and Medical Retina.
George now works primarily from our Portland clinic, where he continues to provide optometric care as part of the wider team.
Martyn Reed – Dispensing Optician
Martyn is a highly experienced Dispensing Optician who has been part of the Coggeshall Eye Centre team since 2017.
Having previously run his own optical practice, Martyn brings considerable experience and knowledge of spectacle frames, lens technology and the dispensing process.
He takes pride in helping patients find spectacles that suit their prescription, lifestyle and personal style.
Natasha Campe – Optical Assistant
Natasha joined Coggeshall Eye Centre in February 2022 as an Optical Assistant.
She is an important part of our practice team, helping to ensure that patients receive a friendly welcome and a positive experience when they visit us.
